1. How to clean a cloth pad?
Washing a cloth pad is so easy as how you wash your worn undies. First, rinse pad until water runs clear. Fold, snap up and store in wetbag (if you are away from home) or soak in a small pail if stain persist. During laundry, just toss into your machine or hand wash together with your undies.
2. How many hours can a cloth pad last?
Some said they need only need 5~6 regular cloth pad on the heaviest day and 1~2 on the normal days.
3. Does it smells ?
Unlike disposable ladden with chemical and gel, cloth pad is fully made of cloth. You will be surprise to learn that your blood actually does not smell at all!
4. Do cloth pads leak?
Mama Patch cloth pad (Regular and Night) comes with a water barrier layer at the bottom of the pad to prevent leakage. However it is advisable to change to fresh pad every 3~6 hours during your heaviest day.
5.Are cloth pads bulky?
On contrary, cloth pad is ultra slim as it only contains cloth. Unlike disposable with chemical and gel, disposable fluffs up when it is soak.
TIPS: Pre-wash pads prior to using, as colours may run (refer to the label on the pads).
After worn, rinse and wash with ONLY cold water. You can lightly rub (fabric against fabric) with some salt/soap to remove stain. Always trial wear the pads at home first to ascertain how long each pad can generally last you.
